To the waters and the wild
Yeats
We recently had a "private" showing of a wonderful play
performed by a top grade actor and actresses.
They wrote the play, did each others make up and designed their own costumes.
The plot was intense. Full of betrayal and spells and death............
and hope which seemed to spring eternal.
The cast of characters: "Michala,"
A pretty and kind and innocent princess who believes good of everyone
and what good is a protagonist without a wonderful antagonist, the skillful and dangerous "Sophra" who steals bloody hearts among other nefarious deeds.
are you afraid yet?"Sophra"
and of course, what every play and often real life itself needs...
a hero.
Brave and fearless, possessed of special talents that even the cunning Sophra, in the end, was no match for.
sorry to spoil the ending but I doubt this play will be coming to a theatre near you
The hero, savior of the day and of the beautiful princess,
"Proteus"
There was betrayal, and court intrigue.
Mystery and mayhem.
Music and waltzing
and and oh so witty dialogue.
In the end, good triumphs
and we are made to appreciate that life's lessons are full of both bitter and sweet.
People are treasures
and you have to stand for something
greater than yourself.
Lovely lessons, from the mouth of "babes".
